Arthur Pingolt, Jr.

Missionary Oblate Partnership/ Mission Project Service
President and Co-Director
Daniel Island, SC

Arthur A. Pingolt, Jr. is President of the Missionary Oblate Partnership (the Partnership), a Division of the United States Province of the Missionary Oblates.   Partnership offices are located in Washington, DC and Charleston, SC.   The Partnership directs corporate and foundation relations for the US Province and through its 100+ Partners engages in education, evangelization and resource-development in the US and several of the 65 countries where Missionary Oblates are located.

Mission Project Service(MPS) is an outreach of the Missionary Oblate Partnership.  MPS is currently co-directed by the Missionary Oblate Partnership and Walsh University of North Canton, OH.  The Partnership will assume 100% of operations in late 2015.  Pingolt and Br. Marcel Sylvestre, FIC (Walsh University) are currently Co-Directors of MPS.

The goals of Mission Project Service are to empower missionaries to develop resources to sustain their mission enterprises and to facilitate efficient and accurate communication from foundations and other organizations who take an interest in providing support for these enterprises.  MPS accomplishes  these goals through a published funding guide, on-site workshops in mission countries, and on-line professional advisory support for missionary grant writers.

Pingolt co-founded the Partnership in 2005 and the late Cardinal Francis George, OMI was its first Honorary Chairman.  Partners includes leadership at all levels of society:  education, finance, government, publishing, business and philanthropy.

Prior to founding the Partnership, Pingolt had a 20 year career split equally between investment banking and educational philanthropy.   He was Vice President for Development at De La Salle in Minneapolis and Development & Alumni Director for Cheverus Jesuit Prep in Portland, ME.   Immediately prior to joining the Missionary Oblates, he was Managing Director of Institutional Equities for US Bank Piper Jaffray and before that Senior Vice President of Investments for Prudential Securities.

Pingolt is a graduate of Creighton University and the William Mitchell College of Law.
